  • Handlebar front light (1000 lumen recommended)

  • Camping headlamp

  • Spare batteries and/or cache battery

  • Rain jacket with hood

  • Beanie or warm buff

  • Spare shirt, shorts, socks in dry bag

  • Waterproof shelter

  • 40-degree sleeping bag or quilt

  • Sleeping pad 3/4 length foam minimum

  • Basic first aid kit
